All refunds require original receipt & valid LSUS ID.
All merchandise must be in new and resalable condition. Do not unwrap or mark in books until you are sure you will be taking the course and your instructor will be using the book. LSUS Bookstore staff will make the determination of the condition of items for refund.
The LSUS Bookstore does not refund shipping charges.
Textbook Refund Deadlines
100% refund during first week of classes for Spring & Fall Semesters and 3 days for Summer terms.
90% refund during second week of classes for Spring & Fall Semesters and 4th & 5th days for Summer terms.
Special course sessions – 100% refund within 3 days after first class. 90% refund on 4th & 5th day after 1st class.
Returns after these dates fall under our Buy-Back policy, conducted during finals at the end of the semester.
Clothing and general merchandise may be returned within 14 days of purchase with a receipt and all original packaging and tags attached. Merchandise may not show evidence of wear or tear.
Computer software cannot be returned once opened.
Method of Return
All refunds will be issued in the original tender paid.
No cash refund on check purchases for a period of ten business days. A certificate will be issued in lieu of cash, redeemable on the eleventh business day.
All merchandise and textbooks must be returned in its original, unused condition unless there is a manufacturers defect.
